Cilj
Kolegij je organiziran kao analiza djela Williama Shakespearea s posebnim obzirom na činjenicu da je pisano za kazališnu izvedbu. Kolegij se bavi pomnim čitanjem i analizom šest drama, uz diskusiju odabrane kritičke literature relevantne za interpretaciju tog aspekta. Glavni je cilj kolegija istaknuti središnje poetičke značajke Shakespeareova dramskog stvaralaštva, koje je od osobite važnosti u povijesti engleske književnosti, kao osnovu za upoznavanje i čitanje njegova opusa.

Ishodi učenja
- Primijeniti naučenu književnokritičku aparaturu i temeljne spoznaje o književnostilskim formacijama u analizi i tumačenju književnih djela
- U tekstu samostalno istražiti i usporediti kulturnodruštvene i povijesne procese u zemljama engleskog govornog područja
- Analizirati i komentirati individualna književna djela engleskog govornog područja koristeći primjeren književnokritički aparat
- Isplanirati i napisati akademski argumentacijski tekst na engleskom jeziku prema uzusima akademskog diskursa, vodeći računa o etičkoj i društvenoj odgovornosti
