1. Studenti će moći identificirati i definirati specifične fenomene američke književnosti i kulture 19. stoljeća.
2. Studenti će moći analizirati i raspravljati o specifičnim fenomenima američke kulture i književnosti 19. stoljeća.
3. Studenti će moći usporediti i kontekstualizirati fenomene razmatrane u kolegiju u širem kontekstu američke kulture općenito.
4. Studenti će moći samostalno osmisliti i izraditi pisani rad na zadanu temu vezano za problematiku u kolegiju.
