Cilj
Cilj je kolegija upoznati studente s reprezenativnim teorijama i modelima pamćenja u žanrovima i formama suvremene američke književnosti i kulture, posebice romanu i filmu. U kolegiju će se razmatrati različite žanrovske manifestacije povijesnoga, kolektivnoga i indivdualnoga pamćenja i načina na koji participiraju u javnim debatama u američkome društvu.

Ishodi učenja
- Studenti će moći sintetizirati spoznaje iz američke kulture i književnosti i smjestiti ih u kontekst globalne angloameričke kulture.
- Studenti će moći samostalno prikupiti literaturu, istražiti kritički komentirati te napisati seminarski rad vezano uz temu kolegija.
- Studenti će moći usmeno i pismeno komentirati i razvijati spoznaje stečene u kolegiju vezano za tematiku povijesti i pamćenja u suvremenoj američkoj kulturi.
